Another website that practices phonics in a fun and enjoyable manner.
Starfall is a really useful website to show children how to ‘sound out’
words by using their knowledge of the Jolly Phonics programme. The
movies and illustrations also motivate the children to read the text.
Even if the children do not read all of the books in this website,
reading 2 or 3 stories will do wonders for both their confidence and
decoding skills.

Storyline is a site where
children can listen to traditional stories read by famous people - good
for hearing expression used by different people.
